West Abbotsford is a community that spreads over about 45 square kilometers south of the TransCanada Highway and west of Mt. Lehman Road. It’s directly adjacent east of Aldergrove in the Township of Langley. The Abbotsford International Airport is the next-door neighbor of West Abbotsford to the east.

Outdoor fun activities are also easily accessible at the Jackman Wetlands Park, also a next-door neighbor of West Abbotsford. The park’s centerpiece is a world-class disc golf course located within 40 acres of woodlands and accessible for free.

Living in West Abbotsford is convenient to the 600,000-square-foot Highstreet Shopping Centre on Mt. Lehman Road at the community’s northeast periphery. The anchor commercial establishments of this shopping center include Wal-Mart Supercentre, Marshalls, a Cineplex VIP Cinema, and London Drugs.

For fresh, organic meat, West Abbotsford is home to Rossdown Farms & Natural Foods on Bradner Road. This farm dedicates itself to providing free-range, non-GMO-raised turkey and chicken.

West Abbotsford is attractive to families with school-age kids and looking for a residence to move in. Three elementary schools serve the West Abbotsford area. These schools include Aberdeen Elementary, Ross Elementary, and King Traditional Elementary School.

Homes for sale in the West Abbotsford area are for the most part divided between townhouse-style residences and single-family homes. The available multifamily units are typically near the major roads around West Abbotsford. These residences typically have price quotes starting from around the $700,000s.

 The newer choices for these units are located on Highstreet Village near the junction of Mt. Lehman Road, Fraser Highway, and TransCanada Highway on the northeastern edge of this community. This development features 157 townhomes as well as eight mid-rise condominiums.
