Repair and maintenance

Regular maintenance through major repair, done in our five-bay shop by Red Seal technicians. We're a provincially licensed inspection facility and an authorized Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal retailer.

Local rides, ask when you book.

Servicing a new vehicle

We are a provincially licensed automotive repair and inspection facility. You can have your new vehicle serviced and maintained at our shop. This will not affect your manufacturer's warranty in any way. We follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

Open 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days a week. Our Go Market convenience store is stocked full of everyday necessities, with propane tank exchange, an in-store ATM, bags of ice, and lottery and scratch tickets.

Our story

Family owned and operated since 1954

Peter and Mary Siemens, along with their ten children, moved from Strathmore, Alberta to Abbotsford in 1951. In October 1954 Peter and his sons established Hub Motor Service in its present downtown Abbotsford location. Peter's son Jake purchased the business in 1965, and Jake's son Ross purchased it in 1994.

  1. 1951

    Peter and Mary Siemens and their ten children move from Strathmore, Alberta to Abbotsford.

  2. 1954

    In October, Peter and his sons establish Hub Motor Service in its present downtown Abbotsford location. Jake starts serving customers while he's still in high school.

  3. 1965

    Peter's son Jake purchases the business.

  4. 1983

    Myron Warkentin starts with us while in high school. His first job is pumping full-serve gas.

  5. 1994

    Jake's son Ross purchases the business.

  6. 2010

    Jake retires in the fall, after serving our customers for 56 years.

  7. 2021

    Ed Wong joins our team as Service Manager in January.

Ed Wong

Ed joined our team as Service Manager in January 2021, after managing a busy automotive repair shop in Vancouver for 25 consecutive years. Outside the shop he enjoys building and repairing hot rods and maintaining a fleet of classic automobiles.

Myron Warkentin, Michael Warkentin and Corey Polson are all fully licensed Red Seal Automotive Technicians and vehicle inspectors.
